Henkel Purbond

Henkel Purbond is the engineered-wood adhesives brand of Henkel Adhesive Technologies, headquartered in Düsseldorf (Germany) with the Purbond competence centre in Sempach Station, Switzerland. Originating in the Casco and Hexion/Purbond engineered-wood adhesive businesses (acquired by Henkel in 2019), the brand supplies single-component polyurethane (1C-PUR) adhesives for finger-jointing, face gluing, beam assembly and CLT/glulam production, plus epoxy and mixed-adhesive systems for load-bearing timber construction. Purbond 1C-PUR adhesives meet EN 15425 (D4 / WATT 91) and are widely used by glulam and CLT manufacturers for furniture and structural timber components.
